There will be chaos in the govt due to the sightings and the anger at what has been hidden for decades
This anger will debilitate the govt stance in the outside world as it will not allow other countries to respect US stability as there will be no US stability.
What is the remedy?
It is as if the us govt has been disloyal to the American people and the people now know it and cannot ignore the deceit. No amount of scrambling of information will fix this.
As Trump comes in as the “new” leader of the US, there will be an opportunity to reestablish trust, but only if the public is given enough information and tools to confront their emotional reaction to the reality of aliens and the reality they have been kept in the dark about aliens and how their govt worked secretly with them.
Trump will need to concentrate on this issue of aliens and trust as it has the potential to destroy this country as when a person finds out their mate has been unfaithful: no amount of “talking” will fix the break in trust.
There will need to be a huge effort to re establish trust.
